Application Process

Candidates must have successfully completed an ACGME approved residency in Internal Medicine and a three-year Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship before applying for the one-year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program. Interventional Cardiology did not choose to change their recruitment timeline as other Medical Specialty programs did so prospective fellows will input their application materials in ERAS beginning December 1. All applicants are required to use ERAS and please note that the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program does not use the NRMP matching system. Our ACGME ID number is: 1523631128.

ECU Health Medical Center will support J1 Visas.

Applicants can expect to receive an invitation to interview during January or early February. Those not selected to interview will be notified via ERAS email. Our program will complete the recruitment process by March 1. A letter of offer signed by the Program Director will be presented to the two candidates chosen by the selection committee.

If you have further questions about our program and the interview process, please direct your questions to the Fellowship Program Coordinator, Mamie McCray at cv-ic_fellows@ecu.edu.
