Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

In partnership with ECU Health Medical Center, the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, offers a dynamic three-year, fully-accredited training program in adult cardiovascular disease. Our program provides structured educational and clinical opportunities allowing fellows to acquire the knowledge, clinical skills and professional attitudes necessary to be excellent cardiovascular specialists. Our heart center allows fellows to learn and care for patients with state-of-the-art equipment. A large clinical volume provides ample opportunity to learn diagnostic and management techniques, as well as perfect procedural skills.

Our faculty have full-time academic appointments and are committed to teaching. Research opportunities are plentiful including collaborative work with basic scientists. We believe our program is an exciting place to learn and we strive to provide opportunities for the growth and professional development of our trainees.
